Sizing & Bras

How do I measure my bra size?

Everything you need to know about how to measure your bra size is on our Find My Size page. Use the guide when measuring, and input your measurements into the Bra Size Calculator to find your perfect size.

Should I wear a bra whilst measuring myself?

You should wear a bra without any significant padding or push-up as this will affect the accuracy of your measurements. Make sure to use a soft tailors measuring tape.

How often should I measure myself?

We recommend measuring yourself once every 6 months, as a lot can change in this space of time!

Do your bras have push-up or padding?

Our T-Shirt Bras have a moulded foam cup. (We will be restocking these!) None of our bras are push-up.

Do you have any bras without an underwire?

We currently have four bras without any underwire. The Cotton Wireless Bra, the Wireless Bra, the Mesh Wireless Bra and the Bandeau.

What bras carry your biggest bra sizes?

Our Fuller-Bust Bra goes up to a 34HH and a 36H.

Do you have any bras that are bigger than a 40 under band?

We currently don't have any bras that will reach above a 40 under band on their own. We do however, sell Bra Extenders, which extend your bra 1 back size per extender. They are sold in a pack of 2.

 

Panties

Are your panties cotton?

We have several cotton panties which include the BriefHigh Waist Brief and Thong multipacks (we will be restocking these!) However, all of our panties have a 100% cotton gusset. 

Can I return my panties for a refund/exchange?

Panties are fine to be returned within our 28 day return window, as long as they are unworn, and in their original packaging. This is for hygiene reasons. Any panties sent back to us that are seen to have been worn will be returned to you.

 

Colors

How do I know which skin tone would suit me best?

We have a super handy Skin Tone Guide which will help you choose the best color to go for - Berry, Cinnamon, Caramel or Café au Lait.

I think I’m in between two tones – which one should I go for?

If you’re in between tones, we would recommend choosing the darker shade.

 

Bra Care

How often should I wash my bra?

Ideally wash your bra every 2 – 3 wears.

Is it OK to put my bra in the washing machine?

We wouldn’t recommend it with every garment we sell, but if you do, we recommend using a lingerie bag and a gentle cycle on a low temperature. Further instructions can be seen here.

How do I know when to replace my bra?

If there are tell-tale signs such as underwire poking out, the band is no longer snug, or if there’s visible damage to the bra then you should think about replacing it. Some bras if kept with care and not worn often may last a life time. However, for bras in regular rotation, look out for the signs above and you may need to replace them annually. Read more here.

What denier are your tights?

Our Shaping Tights are 40 denier, and our Semi-Matt Tights are 20 Denier

Do you carry plus-size tights?

We absolutely do! Our 40 Denier Semi-Matt Shaping Tights are available up to an XXXL, and our 20 Denier Semi-Matt Tights are available up to an XL.

Can I return my tights for a refund/exchange?

Tights are fine to be returned within our 28 day return window, as long as they are unworn, and sealed in their original packaging. This is for hygiene reasons. Any tights sent back to us that are seen to have been opened or worn will be returned to you. Our tights packaging has a small cellophane window so you can see the color before you open them. You can also find our tights size chart here, to find your perfect size.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Please see the Delivery & Shipping page, and your destination and preferred delivery option, to find out how long your order will take. For Melanin Blessed merchandise, please see the product description for that product. If you have ordered and your parcel hasn't arrived yet, you can track it with the tracking number we sent you on dispatch, or contact customercare@nubianskin.com for any other concerns.

Do you provide a returns label with my order?

Unfortunately, as we are a small business we cannot fund return shipping. When returning goods, we recommend the package is sent via a tracked service or with 'proof of postage'. All returned goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they reach Nubian Skin. All exchanged goods are shipped back to you FREE OF CHARGE. Please see more information and the returns address & policy at Returns & Exchanges. We don't accept returns of Melanin Blessed products as these are made to order.

Where do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! However, we don't ship to PO Boxes, military addresses outside of the USA. If you are needing to send to a PO Box or Military address in the US, please select 'USA Economy' shipping.

Where do you ship from?

We now have warehouses in London and in Texas! Orders places in the USA, Canada or South America will ship from Texas, and orders placed in the UK, Europe or anywhere else in the world are shipped from London. Our Melanin Blessed collection is shipped from the nearest warehouse where the product is made. If you have any questions about a particular product, please get in contact.

Do you have a physical store?

We currently don't have a permanent bricks & mortar store, but we often do pop-up shops and sample sales in the UK, so sign up to our mailing list (at the bottom of the page) to be the first to hear about those.

When will my order be sent out?

Orders are processed every working day (Mon-Fri), if you are ordering from the UK, Europe or ROW, and you place your order before 2pm (GMT) your order will go out that same day, or If after 2pm, it will be shipped out the next working day. If you are ordering from USA, Canada or South America, any orders before 12 noon CST will be fulfilled. Anything after is not guaranteed same day fulfilment. Melanin Blessed products are shipped within 2-5 days of placing the order.

I have made a mistake in my order, can you change it?

If your order hasn't yet been processed (see when we process orders above), then by all means, email customercare@nubianskin.com, and we will try and help. If your order has already been processed, it might be too late to make any changes. Customer care will be able to let you know your options depending on what needed amending.

Does my gift card expire?

Gift Cards are valid for 1 year from the date of receiving it.
