Ade’s Diary - November 2024

Ade’s Diary - November 2024

November has been both very difficult and very fun, which I supposed is how life often is in general.

I kicked off the month with a date night to see David Oyewolo in Coriolanus at the National Theatre.  It was a powerful performance with a brilliant cast.

At work, we had a big change as we moved out of our studio.  We have had a lot of moves over the past year, so we’ll be sticking to working from home for the time being.  We have had such a wonderful time being in Camden, surrounded by amazing artists and creatives, as well as having an amazing view of the Roundhouse.

It was a big month for family and birthdays. My husband turned 40, so my family came to town to celebrate.  My siblings and I all have spouses born in a 10 day period of each other, so there was a lot of celebrations and family time, which brings me the greatest joy.

The highlight of the month was a very special trip to Morocco, which was a birthday surprise for my husband.  Marrakech really is a magical city, and it reminded me of the Moroccan Nights collection Nubian Skin launched in 2017.

We’re rounding up the month with Black Friday, and an incredible sale of our core collection, so don’t miss it! It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on Christmas gifts for yourself and loved ones.
